BUTAMBAMO Zone is located in Rusizi District, Western Province of Rwanda bordering the Highest Mountain of Nzahaha Sector, a well known region for fertile sandy loam soil alongside Rusizi river. The harvesting season in Butambamo and Nzahaha region, the harvesting season is very challenging because of the heavy rain and high inclination of soil. The accessibility in the area is very challenging also due to the road conditions (mostly muddy). It is for that reason most of our production is transported by bikes.
